As of August 2024, Logs-Direct has been incorporated into Shorts Group.

Reaching back into our roots Shorts Group started off as Shorts Timber Services with David Short gaining recognition for clearing wooded areas ahead of construction of both the M2 and M4. As he used to say, Shorts Logs always burn brighter.

Our logs are sustainably sourced and seasoned to ensure the moisture content is less than 20% in accordance with Woodsure’s Ready to Burn scheme.

What size is the bag of logs you offer?

We offer logs in a 1 cubic metre bulk bag; this size is convenient for storing a substantial amount of firewood for regular use.

When do you deliver logs and kindling?

We deliver logs and kindling on Thursdays and Fridays. This schedule allows us to manage deliveries efficiently and ensure that our customers receive their orders promptly and reliably.

Are there options for loose and bagged logs?

Yes, we offer both loose and bagged options for your convenience. You can choose the format that best suits your storage and handling preferences. Size options for loose logs can be selected under products.

Where do you deliver?

For information regarding delivery radius, you can check your postcode against our map on our delivery page to see if we deliver. It is around a 20 miles radius from our depot.

Do you offer stacking services?

No, we do not offer stacking services. The logs will be delivered to the kerbside/driveway or as close as possible within the reach capacity of the delivery vehicle. It will be the customer's responsibility to stack or move them as needed.
